H Sanders & Son On Site Sale Report

Trade remains strong at the sale for H Sanders and Son in Waterbeach near Cambridge on Wednesday 5th October.

The results of this on site dispersal sale of second hand agricultural machinery reflect of all Cheffins' recent on site sales with excellent trade and some notable prices achieved.

With a continued shortage of second trade-ins for dealers, availability of quality stock seems to be experiencing a continued drought. This has translated into some exceptional prices, which was evident at the Sanders sale with a brace of 2009 Case IH 155 Pumas making £28,400 and £27,600 respectively. A 2002 Case IH MX110 realised £16,000 and a very well presented 1995 JCB 527-58 sold well at £10,300.

The implement and machinery trade was as buoyant as ever with a healthy mix of both trade and end-user buyers. Prices of note included a Farm Force trailed cultivator press at £3,600; a 2009 Weaving tine drill knocked down for £6,400; a clean 2012 KRM Bogballe M2W Plus fertiliser spreader realised £3,800 and a useful 2006 Bomford Falcon 5.5 hedgecutter surprised at £6,500. Trailer trade was equally active with a 1993 Richard Western 12ton selling for £3,900, a 1990 Bailey 10ton also took £3,900 and a very clean 1985 Gull 8ton sold for £1,720.
