Cheffins expands Ely Rural Professional department with new recruit

Ely Rural Professional department strengthens its team with the recruitment of Anna Hicks

Anna Hicks joins Cheffins from Cambridgeshire County Council where for the past three years she has been managing the County Farms Estate. Ms Hicks will be working closely alongside Edward Tabner who is a Director in the team and will mainly be working in Rural Property Agency, Valuations, Management and Compulsory Purchase.

Led by Jonathan Stiff, Cheffins’ Rural Professionals team has gone from strength to strength with a number of significant projects in the past year. Cheffins manages an impressive portfolio of rural holdings as well as being involved in some of the region’s key land and property sales.

Edward Tabner, Director, Cheffins comments:“Anna gained a wealth of experience in farm management whilst at Cambridgeshire County Council and I am confident that her appointment will reinforce Cheffins’ position as one of the key land agency teams in East Anglia. The Ely Rural Professionals team is continuing to be instrumental in some of the most significant land sales whilst also providing strategic advice for farmers across the region.”

Anna Hicks comments:“Cheffins has an excellent reputation within the profession I am looking forward to having the opportunity to get involved in the diverse and interesting areas of work which the firm covers. My family owns and runs an arable and beef farm in the West Country which gives me a solid grounding for advising farmers and landowners as well as an understanding of the challenges set to face the industry over the coming months.”
