PRESENTATION OF LOTS
The Auctioneers will use every endeavour to ensure that all Lots listed in the catalogue are presented for Sale, but cannot accept responsibility for any Lots not being presented. Nor can they entertain any claim for expenses incurred in abortive attendance at the Sale.

CLEARANCE OF GOODS FROM THE SALEGROUND
Please be sure to pick up your delivery ticket as well as your receipt. YOU MUST HAVE A DELIVERY TICKET, OTHERWISE YOUR LOT CANNOT BE OBTAINED.

Purchasers are requested to note that all Lots must be cleared from the Saleground within 1 week of Sale. The Yard is open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. GOODS ARE LEFT IN THE SALEYARD ENTIRELY AT THE OWNER’S RISK.

LOADING RAMPS
Two concrete loading ramps are available in the Saleyard. If you are sending a representative to collect your goods, he must bring with him the delivery ticket, this being his only authority for obtaining same.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: SALE DAY LOADING
Like any business, we have a duty to increase safety for both our staff and the public wherever possible. A recent review of Health and Safety procedures within the Saleground means that we have no option but to completely stop lots being lifted for either loading or unloading on Saledays. Although this is likely to be an unpopular move with some customers, we hope you will appreciate the responsibility we have to reduce risks in what is potentially a dangerous environment.

With immediate effect there will be no lifting of machinery by forklifts, cranes, Hiabs or any other mechanical means on Saledays. This includes our telescopics and customers own machines. We are still able to load and unload tractors and wheeled plant in addition to small items which can be safely loaded by hand,. This will obviously affect purchasers but also vendors collecting unsold lots. This rule applies to everyone, with no exceptions and it will be strongly enforced. We thank you in advance for your help and compliance.

PRIVATE TREATY SALES
ANY GOODS BOUGHT PRIVATELY after the auction must be paid for through our offices - delivery of same cannot be obtained otherwise, and it is an offence not to report the transaction.

ITEMS MARKED WITH AN X
Any item in the Sale marked with a Lot number followed by an “X” denotes that the description of that particular lot is different from the original lot as shown in this catalogue. This lot may be a replacement of the original as catalogued or there may be an alteration to its description. Therefore, any items marked with a lot number followed by an “X” must not be connected with the original lot number in the catalogue, and its description will be absolutely as given out by the Auctioneer at the time of Sale. The addition of an “X” to a lot will cancel the original entry in the catalogue.

FROST PRECAUTIONS
Purchasers of TRACTORS and other machines with watercooled engines, also OWNERS of unsold items, are reminded that the Auctioneers DO NOT ACCEPT any responsibility for precautions against damage by frost. Owners of machines that are not being removed on the day of the Sale are advised to either drain all water or ensure that there is suitable protection against damage by frost.

INSURANCE OF GOODS
YOUR ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS NO.8 AND WE WOULD REMIND YOU THAT YOU, AS VENDOR OR PURCHASER, ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GOODS STANDING IN OUR YARD. IF REQUIRED, YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN INSURANCE ARRANGEMENTS.

HOUR, MILOMETER AND KILOMETER READINGS
Any hour, milometer or kilometer readings recorded on any lot or mentioned in this catalogue cannot be guaranteed unless stated otherwise.
